I've been having a lot of discussions with myself recently about whether I'm on the right path right now career-wise. I've been a writer in advertising for seven years now, and it sucks the life out of me most days. Or I get more satisfaction from writing in my blog.

And I'm a risk taker, I've traveled everywhere I can, and I'll talk to anyone. I'm not afraid to leave my job. I just don't know what I would actually do. I have this great goal of changing the world at least a little bit, of making people's lives better–but I have no idea in what way. I know what I love doing, but none of them take me to a vision of an actual career. I'm in love with philosophy, spirituality, writing, talking to people…and I feel like there is a job out there for that (I mean you found one). But I've applied for newspapers and bloggers, but nothing sticks.

Any advice?
